BMESC is a companion app for nearby BMESC hardware. The first App Store release uses Bluetooth to discover, connect to, and display local device status.
The app does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not upload telemetry to a cloud service in this release. Device telemetry is used locally on the phone to show connection state, speed, battery, mileage, temperature, and fault status.
Bluetooth access is used only to scan for and connect to nearby compatible BMESC devices.
The app may store local fault log entries on the device so users can review recent safety messages. These logs remain on the user's device unless the user chooses to share them with support.
If users contact support, they may choose to provide diagnostic details such as device name, node ID, fault code, screenshots, and the time of the issue.
